Job Description
Wing is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join its Quality Team in Chennai, India. The role involves setting and executing quality plans for production, analyzing data, identifying problems, and driving continuous improvement in CM production processes. The ideal candidate will have experience in quality engineering, HTS, and manufacturing processes. They will also communicate effectively with management, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality or reliability engineering role
- BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Industrial experience in injection molding, CNC machining, die casting, mechanical assembly, testing, or PCBA SMT
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership
- Strong manufacturing background
- Familiarity with standards like AS9100, ISO9001, TS16949, IPC-A-610
- Expert in driving engineering requirements and continuous quality improvement at vendors
- Understanding of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design
