Biomedical Engineering Technologist responsible for maintaining medical devices and ensuring patient safety in clinical settings.
Requirements
- Graduation from an Electronics Technology or specific Biomedical Engineering Technology program
- Registration with CTTAM (Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba Inc.)
- Certification as an Engineering Technologist by CTTAM (Certified Technicians and Technologists Association of Manitoba Inc.) within six months of completion of experience eligibility requirement
- Working knowledge of plumbing, hydraulics and/or electronic installations
- Demonstrated knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
- Good English communication skills, both written and oral
- Good interpersonal skills
- Must have good organizational and time management skills, the ability to grasp concepts quickly, and a strong customer service focus
