Physician WSS

The Hospice physician provides remote online support to evaluate referred patients for appropriateness, and guidance to hospice nurses in the field as needed.

Requirements

• Doctor of medicine or osteopathy degree from an accredited medical school.
• Experience in a medical specialty dealing with terminally ill patients, such as internal medicine, family medicine, oncology, or geriatrics and with demonstrated experience in the principles of pain and symptom management.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
• Hold a current DEA license.
