The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Department of the WEECAP program is seeking an intern to participate in monitoring and evaluation activities, including data collection, analysis, and reporting. The intern will contribute to the program's learning activities and gain practical experience in monitoring and evaluation.
Requirements
- Education: Statistician Economist, Master in Project Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Econometrics, Data Analyst, or other relevant fields.
- Status: Student nearing graduation or graduate seeking a professional internship.
- Knowledge in project/program design and management.
- Mastery of quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques.
- Able to perform multidimensional, inferential, or other analyses.
- Mastery of Excel (advanced: formulas, cross-tables, graphics, etc.).
- Mastery of data collection and analysis tools/applications: SPSS, Stata, KOBO/ODK, Power BI, etc.
- Strong interest in agrofood value chains (desired for thesis purposes).
- Writing skills.
- Languages: Fluent French and Portuguese for Guinea-Bissau.
- Aptitudes: Rigour, sense of organization, confidentiality, and team spirit. Strong analytical capacity. Communication skills. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
