Reporting to the Regional Planning Manager, the Planning Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and reviewing project schedules and controls procedures. This role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with a focus on proactive planning, risk management, and performance tracking to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 6+ years’ relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably within a main contracting environment.
- Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally within the data centre or high-tech industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and planning processes.
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; experience with BIM / digital construction tools and workflows is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with a sound understanding of programming techniques and typical production rates.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex planning information clearly.
- Capable of working to defined, and often challenging, timescales.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual and project management principles.
