The Windows Server Admin role provides technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations. The role requires significant technical expertise, good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and experience in Active Directory and Messaging (Exchange 2016 & O365).
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in System Administration
- Good troubleshooting and Problem solving skills
- Experience in Active Directory and Messaging (Exchange 2016 & O365)
- Understanding of TCP/IP networking
- Proven Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2016 & O365
- Knowledge on Skype for Business
- Advanced Active Directory administration and troubleshooting
- Good hands on experience on Windows Platform with 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022 operating systems
- Enterprise Level Security patch management
- Diagnosing performance issues on Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019/2022)
- Working knowledge of Virtualization technology: Hyper-V 2008/2012/2016/2019/2022
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and preparing the SOP and Work Instructions
- Server hardening, VAPT and AD Assessments for critical services monitoring, power shell and scripting to automate to Daily Check List
- Review and test Microsoft Patches on servers
- First level troubleshooting on applications, checking OS events and its appropriate plan of action
- OS level debugging, memory dump analysis and issues resolutions
