Job Description
The Wisconsin Humane Society is hiring a Veterinary Assistant Intern for a summer internship at our Kenosha Campus. This is an unpaid, seasonal internship that provides the opportunity to assist our veterinary staff with a variety of duties and gain valuable experience.
Requirements
- Preparing and/or administering animal treatments
- Assisting with surgery preparation and surgical recovery
- Assisting with the movement of patients, recovery of patients, and general flow
- Cleaning of veterinary clinic and exam rooms
- Assisting with foster animal exams and rechecks
