Intake & Hotline Counselor

Intake & Hotline Counselors act as a liaison conducting intake to our Safe Havens, providing callers, potential clients and clients direct service links to external resources through the DV Hotline necessary in establishing safety when leaving a domestic violence situation.

Requirements

• Answering the Hotline
• Conducting crisis intervention and safety planning with callers
• Ensuring a Trauma-Informed client intake and orientation with DV counseling and support
• Assisting OSH (Office of Supportive Housing) Intake staff
• Providing information related to maintaining safety
• Collecting and reporting data
• Maintaining the daily census for our Safe Havens
