Job Description
Workato is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering skills and deep knowledge of machine learning systems. Responsibilities include designing and implementing advanced AI/ML systems, building production-grade AI pipelines, and creating analytics dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years in backend software development using modern programming languages
- Demonstrated experience building production conversational AI systems
- Expertise in natural language understanding and intent classification
- Experience implementing multi-channel support automation
- Strong background in customer support metrics and KPIs
- Experience with sentiment analysis and emotion detection
- Expertise in building knowledge bases and FAQ systems
- Proficiency with contact center platforms and their API integrations
- Experience implementing real-time agent assist systems
- Familiarity with compliance and security requirements
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
