Job Description
Workato is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their growing Engine team. The role involves developing and maintaining the Recipe runtime, which includes DSL, events, and webhooks processing. The company values a collaborative, trust-oriented culture with a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building scalable distributed backend applications (7+ years).
- Excellent understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms.
- Great understanding of large web applications: databases, load balancers, application servers, message brokers, caching, monitoring, etc.
- Excellent understanding of network protocols and stacks.
- Knowledge of classic databases and modern no-SQL.
- Knowledge of basic data structures and algorithms.
- Minimum two languages required: Ruby and another chosen language (Go or Rust).
