Introduction
Our partner company, an innovative and sustainable Hidden Champion in the water sector, is currently building a new business area. The focus is on developing advanced AI technologies for the inspection of water supply networks. Using high-innovative inspection devices, extensive data (video and ultrasonic data) are collected and evaluated using a cloud-based software solution. This prevents a water loss of up to 40% and achieves a significant ecological added value in the form of an efficient use of the limited resource water. The company is looking for a DevOps Engineer to expand the interdisciplinary, agile teams with a focus on Azure.
Your tasks
- Design, implementation, and management of scalable and secure cloud infrastructures with Azure Cloud.
- Development and management of the infrastructure with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps.
- Automation of the deployment process to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
- Management of source code repositories and version control with Git.
- Implementation of branching strategies and workflows to support the development process.
- Collaboration with development, QA, and operation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support of development and production environments.
Your profile
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or similar.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- At least 2 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures and CI/CD pipeline management.
- Proven experience in managing source code repositories and version control systems.
- Certifications in Azure (e.g. Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Knowledge of security best practices in a cloud environment.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK-Stack.
