Job Description
As a Construction Specialist, you will support operations and field construction teams with day-to-day tasks, including project planning, cost estimation, procurement, and communication.
Requirements
- Review project plans, specifications, and related documents
- Analyze construction drawings and specifications
- Perform accurate and detailed material take-offs
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, estimators, and project managers
- Obtain quotes, place orders, and coordinate material deliveries
- Track inventory, tools, and materials
- Assist with safety compliance
- Assist the construction team in coordinating and scheduling daily tasks
- Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and team members
- Maintain and organize project documents, plans, and permits
- Monitor project timelines and report progress or delays
- Update internal and client facing project folders
- Maintain and update historical cost data and databases
