Job Description
We're looking for an Accounting Team Lead to join our Finance team, responsible for leading a team of analysts, ensuring accurate work completion, and determining accounting treatment for new transactions.
Requirements
- Contribute to month-end and year-end close accounting and financial reporting.
- Supervise accounting team members by assigning tasks, reviewing their work and providing guidance on complex issues.
- Apply technical accounting expertise to evaluate new transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment in line with GAAP.
- Prepare financial reports and other special management reports.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
- Identify process gaps and implement control improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Ops, IT).
- Coordinate with auditors and manage audit deliverables.
