Remote - Accounting Team Lead

World Business Lenders is looking for an Accounting Team Lead to join their Finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and technical accounting expertise.

Requirements

• Contribute to month-end and year-end close accounting and financial reporting.
• Prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, and General Ledger accuracy.
• Supervise accounting team members by assigning tasks, reviewing their work and providing guidance on complex issues.
• Apply technical accounting expertise to evaluate new transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment in line with GAAP.
• Prepare financial reports and other special management reports.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Identify process gaps and implement control improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Treasury, Ops, IT).
• Coordinate with auditors and manage audit deliverables.
