We are seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC activities on-site at the project site, ensuring that quality requirements are met and results meet expectations and applicable regulations.
Requirements
- Verify that quality assurance and control requirements are met during the construction phase of the project.
- Develop procedures, guidelines, and referenced quality project forms.
- Review and approval of quality plans for construction subcontractors, ITPs, and other quality-related submissions.
- Identify and implement quality training and development requirements to ensure that personnel have sufficient understanding of requirements and procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Perform scheduled evaluations of Construction Subcontractor activities in accordance with the Quality Plan.
- Supervise the application of approved procedures and ITPs within the scope of work.
- Verify, validate, and/or reject construction protocols, in accordance with the established detail engineering.
- Maintain acceptance test records, conformity certificates, and approved ITPs, as well as test procedures.
- Identify non-conformities and notify the Construction Manager of situations that justify suspension of work.
- Assume a leading role in the issuance of Non-Conformity Reports (NCR), follow any issued NCR until closure, and maintain a record of NCRs and corrective actions.
- Maintain regular meetings with the Quality Representative of the Construction Subcontractor to identify and address potential quality-related project risks.
- Supervise any external inspection or testing agencies contracted directly by Worley.
- Identify and review quality records required for subsequent delivery of construction packages.
- Prepare a monthly report for management summarizing quality activities executed and project quality statistics.
- Establish and monitor established KPIs for the project.
- Prepare the quality closure report of the project.
- Participate in the Project Lessons Learned Workshop.
- Responsible for the audit plan (planning, follow-up, and closure of NC and observations).
- The QA/QC Manager may also be responsible for laboratory subcontracts: Concrete / Soils / END / Paints / Topography and electrical testing.
