We are seeking a QA/QC Manager to ensure that all QA/QC activities performed on-site at the project site are executed effectively and in accordance with the established quality requirements of both the company (Worley) and the project client.
Requirements
- Verify that quality assurance and control requirements are met during the construction phase of the project.
- Develop procedures, guidelines, and referenced forms related to project quality on-site.
- Review and approval of quality plans for construction subcontractors, ITPs, and other quality-related submissions.
- Identify and implement quality training and development requirements to ensure that personnel have sufficient understanding of requirements and procedures to achieve project objectives.
- Perform scheduled evaluations of construction subcontractors' activities according to the Quality Plan.
- Supervise the application of approved procedures and ITPs according to their scope of work.
- Verify, validate, and/or reject construction protocols, in accordance with the details engineering.
- Maintain the set of records of acceptance tests, conformity certificates, and approved ITPs, as well as test procedures.
- Identify non-conforming conditions and notify the Construction Manager of situations that justify suspending work.
- Take a leading role in issuing Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs), follow up on any NCR issued until closure, and maintain a record of NCRs and corrective actions.
- Knowledge and application of methodologies for root cause analysis.
- Maintain regular meetings with the Quality Representative of the Construction Subcontractor to identify and address potential quality-related risks of the project.
- Supervise any external inspection or testing agencies contracted directly by Worley.
- Identify and review the quality records necessary for the subsequent delivery of construction packages.
- Prepare a monthly report for management summarizing quality activities performed and project quality statistics.
- Establish and monitor the KPIs established for the project.
- Prepare the closing quality report of the project.
- Participate in the Project Lessons Learned Workshop.
- Responsible for the audit plan (planning, tracking, and closure of NC and observations).
