Job Description
As Commercial Counsel at Wpromote, you will join the Legal team and structure and negotiate high-impact commercial deals with clients, partners, and vendors. You will provide practical legal guidance to the business and build a deep understanding of Wpromote's services and offerings. You will review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements, drive efficient deal flow, and help build and continuously improve the commercial legal function at Wpromote.
Requirements
- J.D. degree with solid academic credentials and an active state bar membership
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a transactional practice at a law firm and/or in-house
- Experience as a negotiator on fast-moving, complex deals
- Experience with Ironclad or similar contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms
- Comfort working with privacy, security, and data-use terms
- Strong communication skills
- Solutions-oriented mindset
- Genuine curiosity about Wpromote's business and a desire to jump in cross-functionally to help teams solve problems
