Crew Leader

Crew Leader for Wright Tree Service in Waco, Texas. Responsible for supervising line clearance crew, planning daily work, and enforcing safe work practices. Must have 3+ years of experience in tree trimming or clearing crews, excellent leadership skills, and knowledge of trees and electrical circuits.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
• Excellent leadership skills
• Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and correct arboricultural techniques
• Knowledge of electrical circuit and ability to read and understand circuit maps
• Ability to communicate professionally with the general public, customers, and fellow employees
• Enforces on-the-job safety practices
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis
• Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment
• Valid commercial driver's license (dependent on Division and utility/contract requirements)
• Valid medical card to drive company vehicles 10,001 lb GVWR or GVW and greater
• Herbicide applicator or operators certification and license
• Valid First-Aid and CPR cards
