Crew Leader

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a line clearance crew and perform various tasks related to tree trimming, removal, and vegetation management. The Crew Leader will be responsible for planning daily work, assigning tasks, and ensuring safe work practices.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits, and arboricultural techniques
• Knowledge of electrical circuit and ability to read circuit maps
• Ability to communicate professionally with the public, customers, and fellow employees
• Enforcement of on-the-job safety practices
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies
• Valid commercial driver's license
• Valid medical card to drive company vehicles
• Herbicide applicator or operator certification and license
• First-Aid and CPR certification
