Crew Leader

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Crew Leader to supervise a line clearance crew and plan daily work. The Crew Leader will be responsible for assigning work, enforcing safe work practices, and promoting good customer and public relations. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in tree trimming or clearing crews and excellent leadership skills.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience working on tree trimming or clearing crews
• Excellent leadership skills
• Basic knowledge of trees, including identification, growth habits and correct arboricultural techniques
• Ability to communicate professionally with the general public, customers, and fellow employees
• Ability to enforce on-the-job safety practices
• Ability to lift, move, and maneuver up to 50 pounds on an infrequent basis and up to 30 pounds on a frequent basis
• Valid commercial driver’s license
• Valid medical card to drive company vehicles
• Herbicide applicator or operators certification and license
• First-Aid and CPR cards
