Job Description
You will join our expanding Building Structures team in Leeds as a full-time Associate, with responsibility for project management, technical leadership, and delivery of schemes from inception to handover. You'll have the opportunity to develop innovative designs, take a key technical leadership role, and participate in tender bids and business development opportunities.
Requirements
- Degree or HNC/HND qualification in a relevant discipline
- Chartered (MIStructE / MICE)
- Solid experience in structural engineering design in all materials
- Detailed working knowledge of national codes and standards
- Proven understanding of the design process and ability to demonstrate working knowledge of brief/scope documents, design concepts, as well as experienced in producing calculations
- Experience of working with structural design software packages such as ETABS, RAM Structural System, Tekla Structural Designer & Tedds
- Experience in the use of Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper beneficial
