Associate Geotechnical Engineer

WSP is seeking an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to support project managers with geotechnical engineering projects. The ideal candidate has a background in engineering fundamentals, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering or closely related discipline
• 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience
• EIT, or the ability to obtain the EIT within 1 year of hire
• Competent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient self-leadership with attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Work well in a team environment
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety
• Ability to work flexible schedules and occasional travel may be required
