WSP is seeking an Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join our Costa Mesa, CA office. The successful candidate will work on civil and geotechnical engineering projects for the mining industry and have opportunities to work on projects in other industries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent field of study
- 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience
- Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam or the ability to complete the exam within 6 months of start date
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and on teams
- Comfortable working in remote settings
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, technology, math principles, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools
- Capable self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, multi-tasking, and prioritization of responsibilities in a dynamic work environment
