Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Bridge Inspection Team Leader to join our exceptional Bridge & Infrastructure Inspection Team in New York State. The successful candidate will lead bridge inspections for NYSDOT and/or other agencies, direct other field team members, and ensure technical compliance with all applicable standards and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or equivalent
- 7+ years of experience in bridge inspection and/or design
- Professional Engineering Certification
- FHWA/NHI Training
- Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles, practices, and the application to project work-related issues
- Demonstrated interest in structures, transportation or related field
- Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members
