Environmental Project Manager

We're looking for several Project Managers to join our Environmental Project Management Team to deliver environmentally focused projects across the UK, spanning both public- and private-sector clients. As a Project Manager, you'll report to a Senior Environmental Project Manager and play an important part in delivering a wide range of projects, including National Grid's Great Grid Upgrade, Heathrow Expansion, East‐West Rail, and Sizewell C. You'll have the opportunity to lead your own smaller projects, work alongside Senior Project Managers on major programmes, and contribute to the ongoing development of our Environmental Project Management Team's strategy.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager within a project or PMO setting, with a preference for a background in environment or sustainability sectors.
• Genuine interest in the environment and land‐based sustainable development, paired with a positive, can‐do attitude and a real enthusiasm to grow your career.
• Confident communicator, both in writing and in person, able to convey key messages clearly and keep project teams and stakeholders informed and aligned.
• Working knowledge of programme management, including work breakdown structure, dependencies and critical path, and ability to assess MS Project/Primavera P6 or similar outputs.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness, with the ability to demonstrate financial acumen and analytical thinking. Ability to deliver projects within budget and manage effective change control.
• Membership of an appropriate professional institution (e.g. PMI, APM, MIEnvSc, MIEMA, MRICS) and either chartered or working towards chartership / other accreditations.
