We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager to lead the delivery of our UK Fleet strategy, drive innovation, and ensure our fleet services are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and future-ready. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate fleet management, strong strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in corporate fleet management
- In-depth knowledge of the principles and practices of fleet management, including budgeting, maintenance, compliance, and safety
- Proficient in using fleet management software, GPS, telematics, or other relevant systems
- Experienced in managing high-performing teams and driving the development of staff capabilities
- Strategic thinker and excellent communicator
- Able to build effective working relationships and successfully influence and guide others
- Can analyse and interpret data and generate reports and recommendations
- Can effectively negotiate in difficult situations, achieving a solution wherever possible
- Can understand business strategy to inform decisions
- Can proactively manage expectations, with strong change management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Can inspire, motivate, and influence others, acting with integrity and discretion
- Strong interpersonal skills, confident collaborator and able to drive and lead projects
- Take a flexible, solution-oriented approach
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Can demonstrate ownership of personal and professional development
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work on your own initiative and independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
