Job Description
Lead Roadway Inspector provides support to the Resident Engineer on complex construction management projects or programs, performing construction engineering and inspection activities. The role involves monitoring construction for compliance with project documents, reading and interpreting project plans and specifications, and working knowledge of current Caltrans and industry construction standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior construction inspection experience
- Essential professional licensure/certification(s)
- Valid state driver's license
