Job Description
WSP is seeking a Full-time Construction Inspector for their Raleigh, NC office. This role involves examining and interpreting construction plans, conducting testing and inspections, and verifying work according to project specifications. The position requires a commitment to safety, ethical conduct, and adherence to WSP's code of conduct.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience
- Ability to attain NCDOT Concrete Field Technician certification, NCDOT Conventional Density certification, Level II Erosion & Sediment Control/Storm water certification, NCDOT QMS Roadway Technician certification, NCDOT ABC and Borrow Pit Sampling certification
- Ability to keep accurate records and compute field data
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Basic computer skills
- General awareness of construction inspection principles
