Job Description
WSP is seeking a Full-time Construction Inspector for its Charlotte, NC office. The role involves examining and interpreting construction plans, testing, and sampling to ensure work meets project specifications and safety standards. Inspectors will contribute to projects with clients and maintain ethical conduct and company policies.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of road and bridge construction inspection and testing experience or equivalent combination
- NCDOT Concrete Field Technician certification, NCDOT Conventional Density certification, Level II Erosion & Sediment Control/Storm water certification, NCDOT QMS Roadway Technician certification, NCDOT ABC and Borrow Pit Sampling certification
- Ability to keep accurate records and compute field data.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
- General awareness of construction inspection principles.
- Basic computer skills.
