Mechanical Designer, Buildings

As a Mechanical Designer within WSP's Buildings M&E team in Winnipeg, you will play a key role in translating engineering concepts into coordinated, constructible mechanical designs.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Building Systems Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience within a consulting or construction environment, ideally focused on buildings.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building control systems.
• Proficiency in Autodesk REVIT MEP and/or AutoCAD MEP for 3D modelling and construction documentation.
• Familiarity with National and Manitoba Building Codes, Plumbing Codes, Fire Codes, and relevant standards.
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
