Job Description
As a Mechanical Designer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of mechanical systems that support high-performing, sustainable buildings. You will prepare mechanical design drawings, design HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection systems, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or certificate in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in BIM modelling and mechanical system design
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Experience designing building mechanical systems (healthcare experience is an asset)
- Understanding of applicable building codes and standards
- Ability to work independently under general supervision while contributing effectively within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
