We are seeking On-Call Emergency Managers – Response to work collaboratively to provide services to clients preparing for, responding to, and recovering from disasters nationwide and in US territories. You will operate as an integral member of the Emergency Management team, working on an as-needed basis, with deployments lasting up to 30 days. You will be responsible for performing oversight of on-site duties, attending periodic training, and supporting Emergency Management Project Management functions.
Requirements
- 5+ years in an Emergency Management Response role, or equivalent
- Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency Management, Public Administration, or similar/related concentration, or equivalent
- Broad knowledge of Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook (Email), Word, and Excel
- Ability to deploy to disaster area, with little or no advance notice, and potentially for long durations up to a minimum of 30 days
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies (DO)
