Overhead Catenary System (OCS) Engineer

WSP is currently initiating a search for an Overhead Catenary System Engineer for our Boston, MA Office. The ideal candidate will have experience in engineering, prior transit and rail experience, and infrastructure design, with a strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills, and ability to work in a pressure work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or closely related discipline
• 5-7 years of relevant post education experience in engineering, prior transit and rail experience, and infrastructure design
• Experience and technical ability to work on different types of Overhead Contact Systems
• Strong technical writing, analytical and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with an emphasis on quality work products
• Experience in a MicroStation and AutoCAD design environment for the development of Overhead Contact System design drawings
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
