Package Engineer, Mining/Resources

As a Package Engineer, you will contribute to designing and delivering mechanical package solutions for mining and industrial projects across Canada. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-performing systems for major EPCM projects.

Requirements

• 10–14 years of experience in piping, rotating equipment, and static equipment engineering within industrial or mining environments
• Strong background in EPCM project delivery across mining, processing, power, or oil and gas sectors
• Experience with mechanical design of chutes, hoppers, bins, conveyors, and associated structural elements
• Deep understanding of piping materials, equipment standards, fabrication processes, and construction practices
• Demonstrated ability to develop RFQs, MTOs, technical evaluations, and bid analyses
• Experience working in LEAN environments with an improvement-focused mindset
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Canada
