Resident Engineer

WSP is seeking a Full-Time Resident Engineer/Construction Manager for our Tempe, AZ office. The successful candidate will be involved in projects within Arizona, with our Construction Management Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and their challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of AZ. Or Able to obtain AZ registration through reciprocity / comity.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction experience
• A demonstrated ability to read and completely understand contract documents
• Deep understanding of construction practices, specifications, codes, and project delivery methods
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and solve problems
• Proven experience in construction management, preferably with a focus on owner representation
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
