Resident Engineer

We are seeking a Resident Engineer to join our Construction Management Team in the Albuquerque, NM area. The Resident Engineer provides technical leadership, construction engineering and construction management of projects. Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team Team and be a part of a growing team that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

Requirements

• BSCE degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, etc.)
• A minimum of 7 years of directly relevant experience, including Resident Engineer, Project Engineer or related roles
• Licensed professional engineer in New Mexico or ability to become licensed in NM within 3 months of hire
• A demonstrated ability to read and completely understand contract documents
• A working knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and materials
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Valid, current New Mexico Driver's license (proactive indication to obtain within 3 months)
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
