Job Description
As a Senior Engineer - Civil & Structures, you will develop cost-effective, efficient, and innovative Civil & Structural solutions to complex problems and create practical designs using engineering tools such as Revit, Tekla, Robot, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. You will work on projects in various stages of maturity, including feasibility studies, concept designs, FEED studies, value engineering, and detailed design.
Requirements
- Develop cost-effective, efficient, and innovative Civil & Structural solutions to complex problems
- Create practical designs using engineering tools such as Revit, Tekla, Robot, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D
- Work on projects in various stages of maturity, including feasibility studies, concept designs, FEED studies, value engineering, and detailed design
- Prepare deliverables such as structural 3D models, structure design reports, general arrangement drawings, pipe support design and drawings, foundation envelops, and RC detailing
- Support development of plant layouts and plant 3D models
- Work with equipment vendors on developing designs of equipment packages and participating in technical evaluations of vendor designs
- Develop proposals and bids for Civil & Structural projects and contribute to multi-disciplinary proposals
- Create detailed engineering drawings & designs (calculations) for Extra High Voltage (EHV) projects, covering both Air Insulated Substations (AIS) and Gas Insulated Substations (GIS)
- Operate as part of a team of engineers and designers in carrying out civil & structural detailed engineering works, including analysis and design of various structures
- Provide necessary technical inputs to designers, procurement assistance in compliance with tender specifications and design basis, within budgeted man-hour and project schedules
