Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Structures to lead the design process and encourage the rest of the team to deliver appropriate and cost-effective solutions to the agreed programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing feasibility study reports, working with the WSP UK Team to assemble a design specification, and carrying out detailed design to WSP and B Regulations standard.
Requirements
- Prepare feasibility study reports to meet brief requirements
- Work with WSP UK Team to assemble a design specification
- Carry out detailed design to WSP and B Regulations standard
- Review and monitor the production of calculations
- Ensure that information for project costing preparation is completed in requisite detail and to deadlines
- Deal with day-to-day queries from the WSP UK Team
- Report to the WSP UK Team in association with the Associate/Principal Engineer of Structures any variance between the works constructed and the design intent
- Lead the design process and encourage the rest of the team to deliver appropriate and cost-effective solutions to the agreed programme
