Senior Engineer (Geotechnical)

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Ground Engineering and Materials Team based in the interior of BC. As a geotechnical professional based in Kelowna, you will interact closely with important stakeholders within BC, including government authorities committed to energy and infrastructure upgrades, engagement with First Nations partners, and with natural and renewable resource sectors.

Requirements

• A degree in Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited university
• Registered, or eligible to be registered, as a professional geotechnical engineer (PEng) with EGBC
• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, Geomechanics Engineer, Geological Engineer or related position
• Knowledge of standard geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or other similar software suites
• Sense of initiative and be self-directed
• Strong track record of managing and completing projects on time and on budget
