Requirements

• Lead, design, and deliver geotechnical investigations that support safe, sustainable foundations and infrastructure throughout Alberta.
• Interpret field and laboratory data, apply engineering judgment, and develop high-quality technical reports that influence major project decisions.
• Manage projects of varying scale and complexity, ensuring technical excellence, on-time delivery, and strong client service.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior and intermediate engineers, contributing to a strong, future-ready Ground Engineering team.
• Conduct advanced geotechnical analyses and modelling for foundations, slopes, dams, tailings, permafrost, and other geotechnical designs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and national WSP experts, leveraging insights from Principal Engineers and Technical Directors.
• Participate in construction oversight, site assessments, and investigations under diverse terrain and environmental conditions.
• Continue your professional development through training, technical learning, and exposure to complex geotechnical projects.
