Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist supporting Western Canada, you will help shape the teams that influence some of the most exciting projects in the region. From partnering with leaders across Alberta, BC, and the Territories, to crafting meaningful hiring experiences in Calgary and beyond, you will be a key player in bringing top talent into WSP. Partner with hiring leaders across Western Canada to understand business needs and provide consultative sourcing recommendations. Manage full‐cycle recruitment for a diverse portfolio across engineering, environmental, advisory, and corporate roles. Leverage data to advise leaders on hiring trends, compensation expectations, and competitive positioning. Champion an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication, engagement, and thoughtful process management.

Requirements

• Experience delivering full‐cycle recruitment in a fast‐paced professional services environment, preferably across technical and professional disciplines.
• Ability to engage and influence leaders through insight‐driven recommendations and strong business partnership, bringing a responsive, consultative, and relationship‐focused approach when supporting hiring managers and candidates.
• Adept at managing multiple priorities with professionalism, empathy, high attention to detail, and a commitment to getting things right the first time.
• Comfortable with new and evolving technology, with a genuine interest in staying up to date on tools, systems, and innovations that improve efficiency, insights, and the recruitment experience.
