Transmission & Distribution Engineer (Energy Regulated Power Networks)

We are seeking a Transmission & Distribution Engineer to join our Energy Networks team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will work on delivering crucial national electricity infrastructure and collaborate with partners to plan, design, and deliver new customer connections and network reinforcements.

Requirements

• Project Management involving the delivery of CAPEX and Customer connection projects at voltages from 11kV to 400kV
• OHL Tower and Wood Pole design with PLS-Cadd, Pole and Tower experience
• Design of both AIS & GIS substations up to 400kV
• Knowledge of engineering standards for EHV Plant, substations (including earthing and electrical clearances)
• Ability to design EHV substations with CAD systems and use of document control system
• Network system design and planning, including technical and cost assessment of options
• Electrical system design and protection setting calculations
• Distribution and Transmission Authorisations in particular TP(BP)141
