Vice President, Structural Engineering

Seeking a part-time Vice President, Structural Engineering to lead the structural engineering discipline and function, providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure project deliverables are successfully achieved.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline
• 12+ years of relevant post education experience in structural engineering design
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred)
• Advanced proficiency with structural engineering principles, practices, process, standard of care, and the application to permitting and project work-related issues
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills
• Tactical lateral thinking and strong analytical skills
• Ability to elicit cooperation from a variety of sources
• Advanced proficiency with office automation, discipline-specific design software, technology, math principles, physics, predictive models, spreadsheets, and tools
