Job Description
The Director, New Business role involves generating new sales to existing and prospective clients, with a focus on winning and retaining new business, meeting sales goal targets, and providing consultative advice on risk areas.
Requirements
- Prepare proposals and presentations
- Design individual prospect sales strategies
- Conduct thorough needs analysis/risk assessment
- Provide consultative advice in key risk areas
- Identify and close potential cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain consistent/high quality touch points with clients
- Champion the proper advocacy of claims
- Identify prospects for business from existing and prospective clients
- Develop new relationships with individuals responsible for insurance and risk management decisions
- Provide annual input for the performance review of team members
- Provide timely/quality feedback to service team members
