Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented physician to join our Hospitalist team with the Department of Medicine at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about internal medicine, can handle acute medical conditions, and has strong expertise in performing a variety of medical procedures.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) or foreign equivalent
- Completion of post graduate medical training from a U.S. accredited residency program in Internal Medicine
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine
- Current, unrestricted New York State license
- Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration or eligibility
- Active Medicare/Medicaid Enrollment or eligibility
- Excellent communication, bedside manners and organizational skills
- Comfortable with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system and Microsoft Office
- ACLS/BCLS certification
- Experience in inpatient care (1–3 years preferred)
