Scientist I, Platform Development and Antibody Screening

Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a driven Scientist and experimentalist who combines strong hands-on molecular biology skills with a creative, critical, and builder-oriented mindset. This role is focused on assisting in the design, construction, and iteration of novel screening platforms and experimental workflows that enable biological discovery at scale.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry, or a related field with 1+ years of industry experience, or B.S. or M.S. with 8-10 years of relevant industry or applied research experience
• Prior work on platform, workflow, or method development, especially in exploratory or early-stage settings
• Experience with antibody discovery and engineering workflows, including panning, enrichment, or display-based screening approaches
• Experience with assay development, optimization, and experimental troubleshooting
• Strong hands-on experience in molecular cloning and DNA manipulation
• Experience with cell-line engineering (e.g. E. coli, yeast, mammalian or related systems)
