The Project Accountant will support assigned project teams on all accounting-related matters, ensuring accurate and timely financial support for projects. The role requires taking full ownership of accounting aspects of assigned projects, from setup to closeout, and clear communication with project teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business
- Minimum 3 years of construction accounting experience
- Extensive use of job cost accounting systems, preferably Vista by Viewpoint
- Significant experience with Excel and other financial applications
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Sound judgement and decision-making abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
