Direct Support Professional

This job description is for a Direct Support Professional who will assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to meet essential physical demands of position.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with people with I/DD.
• Ability and willingness to assist with a variety of supports and ADLs.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must hold or obtain and maintain certain certifications.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships.
