Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician

As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of diesel heavy engines, including construction equipment. You will also perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, and complete documentation in a legible and accurate manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working as a diesel technician
• Knowledge of complex hydraulics, electrical, computer, and mechanical systems
• Arc and oxygen acetylene welding
• Test equipment used to diagnose and repair equipment and electronic components of vehicles
