Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician

As a Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician at Yancey Bros. Co., you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair standard mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of diesel heavy engines. You will work in a team environment, providing superior customer service and adhering to established time, quality standards, and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience working as a diesel technician
• Knowledge of complex hydraulics, electrical, computer, and mechanical systems
• Arc and oxygen acetylene welding skills
• Ability to operate a variety of equipment safely
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Ability to write service reports that effectively communicate required information
